Hey everyone!
I thought it would be a fun idea to head to your favourites gallery and post a few thumbnails in a journal!
I won't be tagging anyone to do the same, but I strongly encourage you lovely people to do the same!
It's just sharing a little love to those who you feel deserve it.
Maybe an artist who you find skilled but not appreciated enough.
So if you're reading this, please go check out the people I'm about to post in this journal, and write a journal of your own with artists you feel need a little lovin'!
I wish you all an amazing day/evening. :)

This is it for now. I wanted to add a few more but it might end up being too long. Also my computer keeps saying it needs to update and things are running slow.
I really hope you guys will check these amazing people out and hopefully fav/watch their work!
I truly encourage you all to make a journal of your own and post art of people you admire and feel they need more acknowledgement!

What would you ask a pixie?I am quite possessed by this story of mine...
(updated July 15, 2020)
[DA's servers cannot handle the size of this and it won't allow me to add or update further. Still taking questions though!]
What would you ask Chenelle about herself, or about pixies at large?

Chenelle
Yes it is a scrappy pic, but it is so fun and genuine...

Ecstatic pixie!!!

I totally need to do a finer version of this piece...

* * * * * * *
Three years I have known Chenelle.
And this journal is now three years old.
And it has become so large, DA's servers cannot quite handle any more additions :(

Thank you all for walking with us. This journal started as what I thought would be just a passing whim. Bu

Erwin x Reader Rumor Has It
Rumor Has It by Adele
She, she ain’t real

She ain’t gonna be able to love you like I will
She is a stranger
You and I have history
Or don’t you remember?

RUMOR HAS IT…

Strung together at the beginning of a sentence, those three simple words was all it took to turn your seven year relationship with Erwin Smith into one of absolute torture, filled with self-doubt and never ending questions. It began with a simple whisper, hushed tones passed back and forth behind raised hands and covered mouths. Over time, the whispers grew into full fledged discussions consisting of theory, conjecture, suspicion, even wagers; nothing was off limits.

“I don’t know where Erwin went after the club but, it wasn’t with me. He probably took that girl home. You know the one I'm talking about. It’s the only reason I can think

(A fanfic named Rumor has it, created by SilverFoxRedRose )

These artists are all talented and deserve all the love they can get!
If i forgot anyone, please let me know and you'll be added to the next journal.
Thank you all for taking the time and i wish you all a lovely day/evening!

Dementia

5 min read
Hello again followers and who ever else might be reading this!
I'd like to start off with saying oooooohmyyyyyyyygooooooooosh I'm so sorry i haven't been on in *counts* .... too long.
I could go on about reasons but you'd all end up a bored corps sitting on your chair. or wherever you are.

Now I must warn you, this might end up a bit of a rant.
But this subject is just very important to me. So for those who will sit through this, thank you. ♥

I'm not quite sure where to begin so I'll just type and see where this goes.
Without going in too much detail, my dad has been struggling with depression ever since he can imagine.
Things were alrigt for quite a few years until he started acting very odd. My mom brought him to the hospital where he got scans and the lot.
The doctors stated that they may think it to be lewy body dementia. Now what lewy body dementia is is, of course, a type of dementia. But it's the agressive type.
The doctors told him that dementia itself doesn't kill you. it's the repercussions (if that is the correct word?) But lewy body is deadly and he gave my father 8 to 10 years.
Now i won't have to explain what that did to this family.
His way of dealing with it was doing what he does best. write poetry. So he wrote a good amount and wanted to make a book out of it to raise awareness.
He thought it through and hoped that maybe, if he could somehow get ahold of Susan (the widow of Robin Williams, who also had lewy body) she could help publish the book and get the word out.
Not only did she reply, she said she would gladly help, and absolutely loved my dads work! It helped him give himself a goal. Something to look forward to.
She was absolutely amazing and very kind and even organised a gala in new york and got the word out about my dads poetry.

This is my dads book in the hands of the lovely Susan!
This brought such pride and joy to my father you could not imagine. And his book is even available on a site named lulu. (link will be placed later, just waiting for my mom to reply cause i hounestly can't find it)

My father is still running in and out the hospital for tests and results and the lot. Another test showed that it might not be dementia, but his depression growing more agressive.
Now as harsh as this may sound, that made me cry with joy. Not because my father has a horrid illness that has gotten worse, but because he wouldn't die within 8 to 10 years. I got to keep my father a bit longer.
But a few weeks ago, he came back from another test and i got a phone call from my mom saying he is most likely in the early stages of lewy body, but that he will get results back from another test in 9 months. (which has thankfully been shortened to 3 I believe) So now his depression really has kicked in hard.

But, depsite all of that, I am without being able to even put it in to proper words, extremely proud of him.
He managed to accomplish that one small thing he truly wanted to do, and didn't want a single cent out of it. Donating it all to the lewy body foundation owned by Susan herself.

My dad has been battling with his health for quite a while now. He suffers from depression along with other complications that go along with it.
But lately he's been acting strange and we found out that he has Lewy body dementia.
My father writes poetry and has been for years. So he wrote quite a lot of poetry about it.
At some point he even contacted the widow of robin wiliams (he also had lewy body, also she has a fun raising to help with the illness) and she actually agreed to publish his poems in a book.
Now that's where this drawing comes in. My dad asked me to draw the cover of this book which I saw as an absolute honour.
I wished I had practised more to be able to make a much better piece. But to my dad, it was more about it being a family project more than anything.

I will write a little thing about it on my profile along with a photo of Susan (widow of robin williams) holding my dads book.
I'm so very proud of him for having the courage of doing this and helping with awareness.

Bullet; Red Tell your idols how much they've inspired you to do stuff.
Bullet; Orange Tell people that you've been following what makes their art so likable.
Bullet; Yellow Tell your friend that life (and art) is a lot more fun with them around
Bullet; Green Tell a random stranger with likable art that you like his stuff.
Bullet; Blue Tell a newbie that, even though he might not be expert-level yet, the work shows potential and he will get there eventually
Bullet; Purple Feature artworks of artists that you like, that might not get so much attention otherwise

I copy pasted this from damaimikaz.deviantart.com/ journal, because I totally agree!
I find it very important because we forget the little things. We all know that feeling of getting your very first comment.
Or any comment at all for that matter! So, why not give that feeling back? Go to www.deviantart.com/browse/all/ scroll around and comment on the ones you really like!
Or the ones you see that has had a lot of effort put into it!

But as damaimikaz.deviantart.com/ journal explains:

I bit there are many of you that have been feeling discouraged about drawing at this point. Who made something, did their very best, but didn't get any response in return.
How many times have you drawing or written something, uploaded in the hope of sharing it with the world, only to come to the conclusion that hardly somebody responded to it? The truth is that the internet has become busy. Inboxes have become crowded and the time somebody can spend on each individual piece of art has gotten significantly less than it used to be.  (From her journal)

I'm planning on getting out there and telling the people I look up to on this site, that I do in fact.. look up to them! And why!
I'm planning on getting out there and telling people who just arrived on this site to never give up on what they want to achieve. And make them feel welcome!
If I see that someone has improved, let them know!
Heck, if I stumble upon someones profile and see they don't have a single comment on a piece of work, or on their profile, I'm gonna comment! Even if it's just saying hello.

So let's all do that together!
Art is what connects us! simply being friendly and a helping hand is what holds us! <3

And I'm sure you've all read this plenty of times from me but, I truly hope you all have a lovely day!

X Jess
